Steelers fans rejoice! Long has the NFL teased the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Ireland game, and now it has been announced to take place in the 2025 regular season.
The NFL announced an expansion of its Global Market Program almost two years ago, in May 2023, and the Pittsburgh Steelers being awarded Ireland’s international marketing rights set the groundwork for the upcoming game next regular season.
Internationally beloved like no other NFL franchise, the Pittsburgh Steelers have arguably the biggest and most anticipated international game in league history heading into 2025. The only international game news that could compete with the Steelers-Ireland announcement would be the Pittsburgh Steelers potentially playing in another country, such as Mexico.
