Fans have been completely blown away by James McAvoy's performance in his latest film, My Son, airing now on Amazon Prime.
The mystery thriller flick stars McAvoy, 42, as a worried father whose son is kidnapped, alongside Claire Foy who plays his ex wife as they look for their child.
The Glasgow -born star impressed fans especially as he did not receive a script and improvised every line of dialogue his character said in the film.
“I get to have an experience that no actor gets to have,” McAvoy says in My Son’s trailer, which claims that “both actor and audience uncover the mystery at the exact same time.”
“I hope we’ll give the audience something really tangible that they can hang on [to] as this thriller rattles along,” McAvoy said in the trailer’s introduction.
The film was shot in Lochaber in the Scottish Highlands in October 2020, before being released in January 2022.
Fans have been blown away since the production hit screens.
