Fans of the viral Prime Hydration Drink have spotted a subtle difference in their bottles. Some have noticed the Prime bottles they've purchased are made out of "heavy" plastic with a different base shape.
The difference left some customers suspicious, with Twitter users suggesting that the bottles' changing shape is a way to notice "fakes". Others thought that the bottles were "US manufactured stock" that had been imported to meet the UK demand, reports Birmingham Live.
One Twitter user, OverRated Nathan, took to the site to share a picture of two bottles of Prime one with a significantly different shape. He tweeted to Prime founders KSI, Logan Paul, and Prime Tracker: "Why are these two bottles different base wise? Is one new? One old?

"Did Prime run out of bottles that week and use a different one for a day? What’s up?" He added: "The left one looks nicer to me personally."
Prime Tracker, an unaffiliated app that helps fans find bottles of Prime, replied with its theory. The account wrote: "We don't know for sure! Our theory is that they're US manufactured UK stock, imported to help supply the demand.
"After they rightfully made a big deal about the new 10% less plastic bottles, it'd be odd to revert to heavy US bottles.Much prefer the left bottle though, ngl [not gonna lie]."
Twitter users shared their thoughts with the unexplained shape. John Grimwade tweeted: "Fake [thumbsup emoji]." Cl16 added: "One on the left is fake bro."
While Twitter user IBTDEV wrote: "The right one I believe was manufactured in Amsterdam, double check the side of the bottle where it mentions the manufacturer and it should say something about Amsterdam."
Another Twitter user replied: "Different base, because 1 is the uk bottle and the other is the American bottle." Birmingham Live has contacted Prime for comment.
