Fans can nab a free pint when watching the FIFA Women’s World Cup in these Dublin pubs

This September, Ireland plays against Finland and Slovakia in the FIFA Women’s World Cup and fans are being offered the chance to nab a free pint in a number of pubs in and around Dublin to mark the occasion.

Ireland takes on Finland at home on Thursday, September 1 and then travel to Slovakia for their final qualifier on Tuesday, September 6.

Press Up has announced plans to show both games across a number of its venues to celebrate women's sport and encourage people to get out and support the team.

The upcoming matches will kick off the group's commitment to endorse women's sport in its venues, with more plans in the pipeline following these two matches.

The games will be screened in Mary's Bar & Hardware on Wicklow Street, Ashton’s Gastropub in Clonskeagh, John’s Bar & Haberdashery, Union Cafe in Mount Merrion, McDaniel’s of Brittas Bay, the newly opened Thomas Rody Maher’s on Baggot Street, and The Foxhunter in Lucan.

The hospitality group, which has over 65 restaurants in Ireland, has also paired with Heineken to give fans a free pint when they show up to support the team in one of the above venues.

Fans can nab their free pint wear an Ireland jersey for the matches on September 1 and 6, to give back to those who come out to support the team.
