Fans blast Russell Wilson’s inclusion in 2025 Pro Bowl Games

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Although the modern-day Pro Bowl is a shell of its former self, fans may have found some enjoyment in criticizing the 2025 Pro Bowl Games‘ flag football game on Sunday. However, it appears some of this enjoyment came at the expense of Russell Wilson.

One could argue that the 2025 Pro Bowl may be the last time Wilson represents the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the future of the quarterback position potentially resting on the shoulders of QB Justin Fields.

With that in mind, similar to Derek Carr in 2023, Wilson’s performance in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games was under a microscope.

Wilson performed admirably and looked like the best AFC quarterback in the contest—leading two great TD drives in the game. However, he also showcased some of the biggest problems that plagued him throughout 2024—such as holding onto the ball for too long, resulting in unnecessary sacks.
