Fan gets haircut while sitting in the crowd during Minnesota Timberwolves NBA game

A YouTuber decided to get a haircut while sitting in the crowd as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Dallas Mavericks.

Content creator JiDion got a haircut courtside to the amazement of everyone within the Target Center.

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards had a particularly genuine reaction to the incident as his mouth was wide open in shock.

It is clear from the broadcast that both fellow fans and players that were present found the moment incredibly funny.

The haircut took centre stage as the camera panned to JiDion, who was sat in the row in front of his hairdresser for the surprise trim.

The haircut took attention away from a match which carried tremendous implications in terms of the play-in tournament for the home side Timberwolves. Minnesota are attempting to qualify for the playoffs without having to reach the play-in, and the franchise currently occupy the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

Earlier in the season, Edwards declared his team will make the playoffs - and it appears they will do so as they compete with the Denver Nuggets for the sixth seed in the conference. The standings could still change before the end of the season, and the playoff picture at the end of the season could be very different than what it is today.

As for the Dallas Mavericks, it was a difficult night. While Luka Doncic has a good game with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists, his supporting cast struggled.

The Mavericks missed a chance to take the number four seed from the Utah Jazz by losing to Minnesota. Dallas remains tied with the Jazz ahead of their final clash on Sunday.

Dallas also effectively leads Denver by three games with the tiebreaker secured.
