Family urge missing dad-to-be to come home for gender reveal

The family of a dad-to-be last seen almost a month ago have urged him to come home.

James Stott, from St Helens left his home address on September 2 and failed to return. It is believed the 34-year-old was last seen on September 4 but has not been seen or spoken to since.

His mum Julie Chapman has made this emotional appeal for him to get in touch and return home. She said: “James, please come home your partner Karla, brother Lee, niece and nephew Samantha and Jack, all want to see you. Love mum.

“Karla is awaiting the gender reveal and wants you to be there.”

James is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a sandy coloured hooded top, a grey and blue Jack and Jones top, jeans and white trainers.

He is known to frequent the St Helens and Seacombe areas. Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for James’ welfare and would ask him or anyone who has seen him to contact us as a matter of urgency.

“James’ family are very worried as this is out of character. They want to know that he is safe so I would ask anyone who could assist our enquiries to get in touch.”

Anyone who has seen James or knows of his whereabouts is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101. Sightings can also be reported via: https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/
