The family of a man who died as he was riding his bicycle have paid tribute to the "true gentleman."
Roger Dutton, 75, a grandad-of-six, was riding his bike at 3.45pm on Friday, August 25 along Brown Heath Road, Christleton, just outside of Chester, when he was involved in a collision with two cars. Roger, who had links to Merseyside and was once an avid member of Birkenhead North End Cycling Club, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roger's family have made a touching tribute to the grandad, who they called a "true gentleman" and an "inspiration to all who knew him." Roger is survived by Dale, his wife of 46 years, son Joel, daughter Olivia and sister Judy, and his six grandchildren, Jess, Maizie, Georgia, Emily, Maddie and Alfie, reports Cheshire Live.

Roger, who "enjoyed entertaining guests at every opportunity" has also left his 'large extended family and so many close friends' behind.
A tribute released by the family said: "Roger had a passion for life and enjoyed entertaining guests at every opportunity. He enjoyed fishing with his son Joel, was an avid cyclist, being a former member of Birkenhead North End Cycling club and an active member of Simply Grey Cycling Club of Chester.
"Roger was at the heart of everything he did and was an inspiration to all who knew him. Most of all, he was a true gentleman, who will be forever remembered for his love, care and great sense of humour."
Mr Dutton's funeral will take place at Northop Crematorium at 1pm Thursday September 22. The family have requested donations be made in lieu of flowers to Prostate Cancer UK.
