Missing Scots man found safe and well after family 'worried' for his welfare

A missing Scots man has been found safe and well after his family had been 'worried' for his welfare.

Liam Scott had been reported missing from the Lochgilphead area of Argyll.

However, the last sighting of the 23-year-old had been over 60 miles away in Dunoon on Tuesday, August 16.

Cops had noted that he had links to the Alexandria area of West Dunbartonshire.

Liam was described as white, around 6ft all, of a slim build and with short, dark hair.

He had last been seen wearing jeans, a blue T-shirt and grey Adidas trainers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Liam Scott (23) from Lochgilphead was traced safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal."
