Family of missing man Colin Loane 'becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare'

The family of a missing 35-year-old man are becoming concerned for his whereabouts.

Colin Loane has been missing since Sunday, April 3, having been last seen in the area of Union Street in Belfast city centre.

He was last seen in this location, wearing dark coloured clothes and carrying a grey and orange backpack, according to a police appeal.

In the appeal, posted to various PSNI social media accounts, it read: "Police and the family of Colin Loane, aged 35 years, are becoming increasingly concerned for his whereabouts and his welfare.

"Colin has not been seen since 03rd April 2022 in the area of Union Street. At this time, he was described as being 6ft tall, slim build with dark hair which is short on the sides.

"He was last seen wearing a dark coloured anorak, dark blue jeans and was carrying a grey and orange backpack. Colin is believed to frequent the Belfast City area.

"If you have seen Colin, or know of his whereabouts, please contact Police on 101 quoting serial number 1636 of 08/04/2022."
