Family of missing Lanarkshire man 'increasingly concerned' for 31-year-old

The family of a 31-year-old Lanarkshire man who has been missing for several hours are becoming 'increasingly concerned'.

Marc Mulrooney was reported missing from the Burnbank area of Hamilton and was last seen in Coatbridge, near Hawick Drive, at around 1.20pm on Saturday June 24.

His current whereabouts are unknown and his friends and family are becoming increasingly worried for him.

Police Scotland have now launched an appeal to help trace Marc with several resources out looking for him.

He is described as being around 6 foot 4 inches, slim build, going bald with a bushy beard. Marc was last seen wearing a brown jumper/jacket with black trousers and brown footwear.

Inspector Faulds from Motherwell Police Station confirmed, "Marc has been missing for several hours now. This is completely out of character for him and his friends are understandably worried.

"We have several police resources out looking for him, and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."
