The daughter of a missing East Lothian man who may be in Edinburgh has issued an appeal urging the public to keep looking for her dad.
Alexander, or Alec, Murdoch, was last seen around 10pm on Thursday, June 22, in the Marmion Road area of North Berwick. According to his daughter Lydia, the 71-year-old may have travelled to Edinburgh.
As well as the family, Police Scotland has also issued an appeal asking for the public's help in tracing Alec, whose disappearance is 'unusual' and 'out of character'.

He is described as white, 5ft 8/9ins tall, of slim/medium build, with grey/white hair which is balding on top and very close shaven on the sides and he wears wire-framed glasses.
Updating friends and those helping with the search, Lydia has put information on her Instagram account and has urged people to keep looking for her dad.
She posted: "Thanks so much to everyone who has been sharing dad’s photo and keeping an eye out for him. Putting all info here so there’s a more permanent place that’s won’t disappear like Instagram stories.
"Please please keep looking for dad - we just want him home."
Lydia also says her dad recently suffered a stroke and they fear a similar situation may have arose due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his sudden disappearance.
She added: "Dad had a stroke in December 2021. We're concerned something similar may have happened as it is very out of character for him to be gone with no word.
"He may be lost or confused. Please keep an eye out and help us get him home safe."
Anyone with information can contact Lydia's Instagram account, @lydiarymu or contact Police Scotland quoting crime reference number 2037.
Inspector Laura Stevenson previously said: "This is very unusual for Alexander and concerns are growing for his welfare and we want to make sure he is safe and well.
"Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts, please get in touch. Also, can householders please check their gardens, sheds, outbuildings and communal areas in case Alexander has sought shelter."
