The family of a 24-year-old East Kilbride man who went missing nearly one month ago are "extremely worried" for his safety.
Concern is mounting for Kal Clarke who was last seen around 9pm on Sunday, February 19, at Loch Loyal in the St Leonards area of the South Lanarkshire town.
He has not been seen or heard from since and police say his family is extremely worried as this is "totally out of character" for Kal not to be in touch.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out and officers are continuing to speak with his family and friends for any information on where he may have gone.
Officers have also been liaising with travel operators for any additional information on Kal.
Kal is around 5ft 11 inches in height, with short, brown hair. When last seen, he was wearing a grey hooded top, blue polo shirt, grey jeans, a black body warmer and black and white trainers. He was also carrying a grey-coloured rucksack.
In the past, Kal has travelled into Glasgow city centre and the west end area of the city.
Officers say they are making enquiries in those locations. Sergeant Scott Anderson said: “It is totally out of character for Kal not to be in touch with his mum, his family and his friends and that fact that no-one has seen him or heard from him is giving us cause for concern.
"His family is understandably extremely concerned and just want to know he is safe and well. If anyone has seen Kal or has any knowledge as to his whereabouts, please contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 4181 of 20 February, 2023.
