They believe their loved one may be in France, specifically around the Montpellier region of the country.

Taking to Facebook, the family of Susan have asked people to come forward if they have any information on her whereabouts. They shared their message in both English and French.

The poignant message said: “You might remember meeting her in the last week somewhere. Maybe you sold her a plane, train, ferry or bus ticket.

“Maybe she was in your taxi. Maybe you recognize her from a hospital admission. Maybe you saw her on a beach or served her a coffee.”

Many people have shared the message with Irish groups based in France in the hopes that someone may recognise Susan. Her family are asking for the Facebook post to be shared “widely”.

An email address has been set up for the cause, with any tips appreciated to findsusan2022@gmail.com. Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on +353 646 671 160.
