A family-of-eight were stopped by police on the way home from the airport after cramming into one car.
Officers from Merseyside Police' s road policing unit posted on Twitter and said they pulled over a five seater car in the early hours of Wednesday. Police said the reason they pulled over the car was because the driver had collected eight members of his family, including a baby, from the airport.
According to the officers, the family were "sardined" in the fiver-seater car. The driver also had no insurance or MOT when police checked their details.

The car was seized and the driver was reported to authorities. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police's road policing unit said: "This vehicle was stopped after the driver had collected his family from the airport, 8 of them in fact, including a baby, and they were all sardined in the five-seater car.
"Driver also had no insurance or MOT. Vehicle seized and driver reported." According to the RAC, squeezing an extra person in between other passengers along the back seats is not allowed. This can also disrupt the car's performance and extra passengers may also block the rear windscreen.
Extra weight will also cause the underside of the car to drag which can affect steering functions and braking ability. This will also cause headlights to be disjointed which can dazzle other drivers.
The RAC also said driving with more passengers than available seats could also be deemed dangerous driving which could see you face court action and hit with a £5,000 fine. For the latest news and breaking news visit liverpoolecho.co.uk/news
