A remarkable young man who defied the odds during his cancer battle is to be remembered after dying on Christmas Day.
Owen Copland was just 21-years-old when he died, months after being told he had days to live.
In the weeks before his death, he carried on fighting heroically in the hope that he would be able to travel abroad for specialist treatment.

The Liverpool John Moores University graduate from Maghull was an inspiration to those who knew him, as well as people who followed his journey on Facebook and Instagram.
Owen sister, Jane, and mum, Gill, often updated the thousands who liked and followed his pages.
The 21-year-old suffered from glioblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer in the brain.
One person who proved influential in recent months was Alex Ivanoff, owner of Anytime Fitness in Maghull.
He stepped in to help - along with other members of staff at the gym - to give Owen regular physio and exercise that he was missing out on.

Alex also raised thousands in a bid to help Owen and his family with any financial burdens.
Alex released a heartfelt video following Owen's death.
He said: "This video is to inform you all that we had the very sad news over Christmas that Owen, who you know that I was working closely with, lost his battle with his brain tumour on Christmas Day.
"It's extremely sad and he was incredibly brave. He did his best to work through his illness. He was one of the bravest men I've ever met and it was an honour to know him. At this time please send out your best wishes and your love to Gill, Jane, John and Pete who have lost Owen.
"Thank you for all your support and all your help in raising as much money as we did. Life can hit you quite hard. If you could send some best wishes and love that would be great.
"Thanks again for all your support and it was incredible to see the community coming together and everything that we did. Thank you for everything we did. We're sending our love to you Gill and Jane. We love you very much and we're very sorry."

Owen's family have confirmed a date for the funeral, encouraging anyone attending to wear yellow, the colour of Owen's campaign.
The funeral will be held at West Lancs Crematorium on Monday, January 17 at 1pm. All are welcome with family flowers only.
Donations are also welcome, with people asked to donate to the Doing it for Daniel Foundation.
A link will also be sent out of the funeral for those who can't be there in person.
