Violence: Some extreme violence done by and against children and animals, including abuse, torture and murder (stabbing).

Language: None

Parents’ advisory: This is probably too scary and thematically mature for kids. OK for teens.

'ON THE COUNT OF THREE'

Rated R for violence, suicide, pervasive language and some sexual references.

What it’s about: Best friends make a suicide pact but decide to spend one last day together.

The kid attractor factor: This is an indie dramedy about suicide, there's not much attraction for kids, but perhaps for teens.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Follow your heart and do what's right for you.

Violence: Various suicide attempts by different methods, shooting, robbery, beating, etc.

Language: Swearing throughout

Sex: References to sexual abuse and sexual relationships.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is too mature and dark for kids. OK for teens if you discuss thoughts about suicidal ideation and self-harm.
