'LIGHTYEAR'
Rated PG for action/peril.
What it’s about: Back in "Toy Story," Andy got a Buzz Lightyear toy from his favorite movie. This is that movie, in which Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear has to fight time and space in order to make it home.
The kid attractor factor: It's animated! It's Buzz Lightyear.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Ask for help, learn to work as a team, don't be afraid to change and admit things can be different.
Violence: Some spacecraft crashes, killer alien robots and otherwise perilous situations.
Language: None
Sex: None
Drugs: None
Parents’ advisory: Really a lot of fun for the whole family. "Lightyear" strikes a more mature tone as a sci-fi flick but still has good humor and lovable characters throughout.

'OFFICIAL COMPETITION'
Rated R for language and some nudity.
What it’s about: An eccentric filmmaker, bankrolled by a pharmaceutical exec, starts the rehearsal process for her new film with two legendary actors, and things quickly spiral out of control.
The kid attractor factor: This is an arch adult satire — not much appeal for kids.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Beware the labels of "good" and "best" when it comes to art.
Violence: A moment of fighting/violence and serious injury.
Language: Some swearing.
Sex: References to sex and sex scenes, some passionate kissing, a topless actress.
Drugs: None
Parents’ advisory: This doesn't have much appeal for kids or younger audiences but it is fine for older kids and teens.
