Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort in Vietnam has launched family-friendly stay packages that combine convenience, off-the-grid island serenity and invigorating theme park experiences.

Located on one of Pearl Island's superb beaches, Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort offers a sense of privacy, peace and belonging, while awaiting nearby are thrills to be found at the country's largest wildlife conservation and theme parks -- Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders Phu Quoc.

The resort's all-inclusive package is valid for stays until Nov 20 and includes three daily meals at beachfront restaurants when guests book four nights or more. Rates start from VND4 million (approximately 5,900 baht) per night, based on double occupancy, and likewise include accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to two guests, complimentary round-trip airport transfer, complimentary shuttle service to Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders Phu Quoc, and early check-in from 10am or late check-out to 4pm (subject to availability).

The World of Wonders package makes family bonding more fun with an experience that includes transportation and tickets to Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders Phu Quoc for two people. Valid for stays until June 22, the package starts from VND3 million per night, based on double occupancy. The package also includes accommodation, welcome amenity, daily breakfast, complimentary shuttle service to Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders Phu Quoc, tickets to Vinpearl Safari and VinWonders Phu Quoc, early check-in from 10am or late check-out to 4pm (subject to availability).

Magic time at Koh Samui Beach Resort

A new world-class magic show has appeared in Koh Samui. The Illusions Theatre magic show now takes place six nights a week in a purpose-built, 71-seat air-conditioned facility within newly opened Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort on Lamai Beach.

Two nightly shows are performed Monday to Saturday, a 7pm show for the whole family and a 9pm show for adults only. Each lasts one hour with a 15-minute interval.

In a first for Koh Samui, close-up magic is performed live on stage just inches before spectators. The theatre also is equipped with two 190cm, high-definition screens allowing the audience to enjoy the same experience as those invited to participate in the magic on stage.

Tickets are 1,200 baht per person.

Marina Bay Sands gets smarter

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has launched mobile application-enabled Smart Hotel features that allow guests to skip conventional means of checking in and out at the front desk.

The new initiative enables users to pre-register wherever they are, check in and complete verification requirements on their mobile phones as they step through the doors of Singapore's largest hotel. Guests will also be able to use their mobile phones as digital keycards to access their rooms and hotel lifts, and to order in-room dining.

These new services kick off a significant programme under the integrated resort's customer service roadmap to elevate the end-to-end digital experience across all touchpoints of each guest's journey. The new functionalities and many more features are now available on Marina Bay Sands' mobile application for Android and Apple users.
