Halloween is just around the corner, with costumes already on shelves and pumpkin patches already open.
While there are plenty of adult-only activities available, including Farmaggedon, families will also be looking into plans for the spookiest night of the year.
Other than trick or treating, finding something to do for the whole family can be a little more difficult.
Below, we’ve taken a look at what is happening around Liverpool this Halloween.
Spooky Welly Walk

Taking over Sefton Park once again this Halloween, the Roy Castle Spooky Welly Walk returns on Saturday, October 19.
There will be plenty to do on the day, including creepy crafts, games, spooky storytelling and more.
The two-mile walk attracts thousands each year and is one of the city’s most popular Halloween events.
Spooky Welly Walk costs £4 per person (or £5 on the day), while under 2s go free.

The Candy Cavern
This Halloween, Camp and Furnace is transforming into a Halloween haven.
While the adults will be able to enter an asylum, little ones will be able to enjoy a scare-free daytime event.
The Candy Cavern will include carnival-style games, a monster ball disco, spooky storytelling and more.
The event runs from October 26 to November 3, and tickets are priced at £11.25 per person.

Monster Ball and film screenings

The Palm House at Sefton Park is throwing a Monster’s Ball for families this October half term.
The four-day event will feature daily film screenings, dancing, games and creepy crafts activities to keep the kids entertained.
Films on show include Hocus Pocus, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Hotel Transylvania and The Addams Family.
The event runs from October 27 to October 30.

The Floating Cinema

Liverpool’s first floating cinema is returning for Halloween from October 24 to November 1.
Family-friendly films being screened during the daytime include Casper, Hocus Pocus, and The Addams Family.
On Halloween itself, children are encouraged to get into the spirit and dress up, with prizes to be won for best dressed.
Guests can make the most of the floating pontoon experience by cuddling up under blankets and relaxing on deck chairs and beanbags.

Halloween at Baltic Market
The Baltic Market is opening its doors this Halloween for a four-day event - and fancy dress is encouraged.
Little ones are welcome all day on the Thursday and Sunday and until 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
Activities for the kids include crafts, workshops and even a magician show.
Entry is free.
Halloween Spooktacular at Liverpool ONE
This Halloween is hosting an evening of entertainment for the whole family from 4pm - 7pm.
Not much has been released just yet, but families can expect surprises, giveaways and prizes.
Halloween at The Pinewoods
Formby Pinewoods is hosting its very own Halloween party this October.
There will be a huge disco, plenty of party games, face painting and a buffet available.
The event will take place on Sunday, October 27 from 11am - 2pm and tickets cost £7 per person.
Creepy Crocky Crawl
This Halloween at Alt Park, families can take part in a creepy crawl along the trails before heading into Croxteth Sports Centre for some frightening fun.
Throughout the evening visitors will be able to enjoy games, crafts, and free food.
The experience will begin at Alt Park on October 23 from 3:30pm.
