Family fears for Glasgow woman missing from home for six days

Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman missing from the Shettleston area of Glasgow.

Shona McKenna, 46, was reported missing on January 9 having last been seen on January 4 at around 1pm.

She’s described as 5 foot 7 with a slim build and long fair hair. She was seen wearing a knee length cream puffy jacket.

A spokesperson for the Greater Glasgow Police Division said: “Shona McKenna was last seen in the Shettleston area around 1 pm on Wednesday, January 4 and was reported missing to police on Monday, January 9.

“She is described as white, 5ft 7, slim build with long fair hair and when last seen she was wearing a knee length cream puffy gilet.

“Shona’s friends and family say that her disappearance is out of character and are becoming increasingly concerned.

“Anyone who has seen Shona since January 4 or knows of her present whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately quoting incident number 2379 of January 9, 2023.”
