A family is 'extremely worried' for the welfare of a missing man who vanished in a Scots town.Andrew Rankin, aged 55, was last seen on Union Street, Greenock at around 11.20am on Tuesday, June 28.
Described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of a slim build with grey short receding hair, Andrew hasn't been heard from since. He was wearing a black bubble jacket, grey top with writing across chest, blue jeans and white shoes at the time of his disappearance.
Andrew was also carrying a black rucksack. Police Scotland are now growing increasingly concerned for the 55-year-old's welfare and are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV footage.
Police Sergeant Gary Arthur of Greenock Police Office said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Andrew. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.
“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him.
“I would urge anyone who has any information on Andrew whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2690 of Tuesday, 28 June, 2022."
