Family desperately worried as young man goes missing in Cardiff

A man who went missing for two days has been found safe and well following appeals to locate him.

South Wales Police had appealed for information to locate Ethan Thomas, 23, who had last been seen in Canton, Cardiff at around 8.15pm on Thursday, February 3.

He had last been seen wearing a black leather jacket, aviator sunglasses, white shirt with a blue paisley kind of pattern, dark jeans and a backpack, according to a separate appeal shared on social media by his friends and family.

The family's appeal said they were concerned for his welfare. Following the appeals Ethan's family confirmed at around 10pm on Saturday, February 5 that he had been located safe and well and thanked the public for their help in finding him.

A South Wales Police statement read: "Ethan Thomas, 23, was last seen in Canton, Cardiff at around 8.15pm Thursday, February 3. Family and friends are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information or sightings, is asked to contact us quoting *039349."
