As the high school season has begun, prospects are starting to figure out their official visit schedules, and Ohio State Football will get New Jersey native Jordan Seaton to visit in October.
Seaton will visit when Maryland is in town, and according to a report by 247Sports Brian Dohn, a family connection could help the Buckeyes. The 6-foot, 5-inch, 285-pound lineman is very familiar with Ohio State’s program, and he has been able to get some inside knowledge from former Ohio State offensive lineman, Paris Johnson Jr.
The first-round selection’s father and Seaton’s uncle are friends, which will not push the Buckeyes over the edge, but it can’t hurt. The No. 1 interior offensive lineman and 39th overall player on the 247Sports composite, told Dohn he likes Ohio State due to the “passing offense that they run. I like to be out in space. I like to show guys I can make. And (offensive line) coach (Justin) Frye. He can develop.”
My goal is to keep progressin every game I’m Never Satisfied. Appreciate the Recognition my guy https://t.co/Zjq5T49oFD

Johnson Jr. knows about the development, even though he was a five-star prospect coming out of high school. We all know that doesn’t always mean you are a shoo-in to get drafted early. On top of that, the great reviews that Dawand Jones is receiving, Frye can develop.
Hopefully theses factors help push Seaton toward the Buckeyes in the end.
