Families Of Gaza Hostages Demand Release Outside Blinken's Hotel

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken meets with the families of the hostages outside of a hotel, in Tel Aviv

Families of hostages held in Gaza staged a demonstration outside the hotel where US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was staying in Tel Aviv on Tuesday. The demonstrators were calling for a deal that would secure the release of the hostages. They gathered outside Blinken's hotel, blocking the road and reading out the names of the 101 hostages still being held in the strip.

The protesters, carrying US and Israeli flags, chanted, 'We want them alive,' and displayed signs with messages such as 'Ceasefire Hostage Deal Now,' 'Stop the War,' and 'Hostage Deal Today.' Their aim was to draw attention to the plight of the hostages and urge for immediate action.

The US State Department highlighted Blinken's emphasis on the importance of leveraging this development to bring all hostages home and put an end to the conflict in Gaza.
