A food processing worker was so intoxicated that he "foamed at the mouth", before verbally abusing police who took him into custody outside a nightclub, a court heard today.
David MacMillan, 36, came to officers' attention after stewards at the club, in Meadow Street, Falkirk, requested assistance in removing him from the premises, Falkirk Sheriff Court was told.
Prosecutor Sarah Smith said that when police arrived, they found MacMillan "extremely intoxicated, and foaming at the mouth".
He began to behave aggressively, shouting and swearing at police, telling them, "Youse are getting the f****** sack".
He was handcuffed, and his behaviour "further escalated".
He shouted at police, "You're a f***ing c***. You're all f*****s. Take these f***ing cuffs off and me and you will have a go."
MacMillan, of Camelon, Stirlingshire, a team leader at a food processing plant, pleaded guilty to committing a statutory breach of the peace.
Sheriff Wyllie Robertson fined him £940.
He warned MacMillan: "Further behaviour of this sort is going to result in custody."
