The Atlanta Falcons bounced back from last week’s tough loss to the Seattle Seahawks with a 31-26 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8. Just like when these two rivals last faced off, Sunday’s game came down to the final seconds.
However, the Falcons wouldn’t need overtime to secure the victory this time around. The defense came up with some clutch stops to keep Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers out of the end zone in the final minutes. Atlanta improved to 5-3 on the season while Tampa Bay dropped to 4-4.
