The Atlanta Falcons don’t have a lot to feel good about at the moment. While they have undoubtedly improved on defense and have some nice weapons on offense, it hasn’t helped the Falcons improve their win total in 2023.
Considering Atlanta was given one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this season, it’s hard to comprehend why this team continues to regress week after week. The QB situation is less clear than it has been in three years and the Falcons are on track for yet another 7-10 season.
Fans on Twitter were ready to leave head coach Arthur Smith in Arizona following Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals.
The Falcons were 4-3 after beating Tampa going into a three-game stretch against the Titans, Vikings, & Cardinals. At worst, you expected them to go 2-1. Instead, they lost all three in matchups you fully expected them to win. That's got to raise major questions about the coach.

After 10 games, the Falcons have shown little to no improvement that would anybody any hope for a breakthrough and after 3 years of subpar football, it is officially time to close the chapter on Arthur Smith's tenure here. This team is what it is, and that won't change under him.

Facing three teams with QB’s making their first start of the season. Idk if it’s a complacency issue or what but it’s unacceptable. Also missing Grady for all but 1 play of those games isn’t a coincidence as he’s still the pulse and leader of this defense.
