The Falcons defense may be struggling early, but their offense is carrying the load in the first half against the Buccaneers. Quarterback Kirk Cousins found tight end Kyle Pitts for a 49-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
A momentary lapse in judgment by Pitts almost saw the Buccaneers recover a fumble at the one-yard line, but the touchdown was upheld upon further review. This is the first time Pitts has scored multiple touchdowns in a game.
