Falcons sign offensive lineman to final practice squad opening

The Atlanta Falcons made another addition to their 16-man practice squad on Tuesday. According to team reporter Terrin Waack, the Falcons have signed offensive lineman Matthew Cindric to their final practice squad opening.

Cindric played both guard and center at California before signing with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent following the 2024 NFL draft. Since the Cincinnati Bengals poached offensive lineman Andrew Stueber off Atlanta’s practice squad, Cindric can help provide extra depth.

The Falcons also signed tight end Armani Rogers to the practice squad on Monday while designating linebacker Nate Landman to return from the injured reserve list. Landman’s 21-day practice window has been opened but he’s not officially on the roster until the team activates him.

Sunday’s game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET inside Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium. Atlanta is currently a 5.5-point favorite over Carolina.
