The Atlanta Falcons released defensive lineman Travis Bell on Tuesday and it didn’t take long for the team to find a replacement. According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Falcons have signed defensive lineman Tommy Togiai off the Browns’ practice squad.

Togiai, 24, was selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft out of Ohio State. Over his first two NFL seasons in Cleveland, the former Buckeyes defensive lineman appeared in 18 games with two starts, racking up 29 tackles (12 solo), three QB hits, one sack and one pass defended.
Togiai has not appeared in a game this season, instead spending the year on Cleveland’s practice squad. Watch as Togiai records a sack against Philadelphia in the preseason below.
