Hellams told me then he figured he would be fined. He was.

Hellams, a seventh-round pick out of Alabama, has been a nice addition to Atlanta’s secondary this season. In Week 12, he finished with a career-high seven tackles (four solo) to help defeat the Saints.
The Falcons take on the New York Jets in Week 13, but they won’t have to face quarterback Aaron Rodgers despite his return to practice. Veteran Tim Boyle will get his second straight start for the Jets.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET from MetLife Stadium.
