The Atlanta Falcons have interviewed 13 candidates for their head coach vacancy thus far, and they don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. On Sunday, the team spoke with Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons have scheduled a second interview with Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris. Before taking the job in Los Angeles, Morris served as Atlanta’s interim head coach when Dan Quinn was fired in 2020.

The Falcons have requested a second interview for their head coach vacancy with two other candidates. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the team will seek additional meetings with Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and Ravens associate head coach/defensive line coach Anthony Weaver.

In other Falcons news, defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen took a job with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Nielsen was credited with turning around Atlanta’s defense in 2023 and not all fans weren’t thrilled about him leaving.
