The regular season is over for the Atlanta Falcons, but the work is not quite done for the team’s coaching staff. According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons and Patriots have been chosen to coach the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Buy Falcons TicketsFalcons and Patriots will be the two coaching staffs for this year’s East-West @ShrineBowl. With head coach and coordinator changes among non-playoff teams, the Falcons and Patriots best fit the criteria of coaching this year’s Shrine Bowl.

Each year, two non-playoff teams get to coach this college all-star game. Since the Falcons and Patriots both retained the majority of their coaching staffs, they made the most sense, according to Schefter.
This 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl is scheduled to be played on February 2 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
