The Atlanta Falcons have targeted offensive skill position players in the first round of three consecutive drafts, but they still need a few more pieces. After reports of the team meeting with multiple cornerback and quarterback prospects, Atlanta formally met with Texas wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, per ESPN’s Jarvis Davis.
Mitchell finished the 2023 season with 55 catches for 845 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns for the Longhorns. He’s a potential Day 2 option for Atlanta if he’s available. The Falcons have very little depth behind Drake London and there are some quality wide receivers in this year’s draft class.

Wide receivers, running backs and quarterbacks will take the field on Saturday at the combine. Caleb Williams and Drake Maye aren’t going to throw, but fans can expect to see Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix participating.
Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins, who previously met with the Falcons, turned heads on Friday with his blazing 40-yard dash time.
