The Atlanta Falcons are assigning jersey numbers for the 2023 season and already two players have officially changed theirs. First, quarterback Desmond Ridder swapped out his No. 4 that he wore last year for the No. 9 he wore in college.
Falcons linebacker Lorenzo Carter, who wore the No. 9 last season, then switched to the No. 0 after giving up his number to Ridder.
