The Atlanta Falcons (4-2) have elevated defensive back Natrone Brooks and outside linebacker Demone Harris from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks (3-3).
Brooks stood out in the 2024 NFL preseason but did not make the team’s 53-man roster when training camp concluded. The former undrafted free agent has spent the entire season on Atlanta’s practice squad.
Harris, 28, has appeared in 14 games over five NFL seasons, racking up 11 tackles (five solo) and three QB hits. It’s the first elevation for either player this season.
The Falcons placed outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter on the injured reserve list due to a concussion on Saturday. The team signed defensive back Kevin King from the practice squad in a corresponding transaction.
While the Falcons could have trouble getting pressure on Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, Seattle is dealing with some key injuries going into Week 7.
Offensive lineman Stone Forsythe has been ruled out, along with defensive backs Riq Woolen and Tre Brown. On Saturday, the Seahawks downgraded running back Kenneth Walker to questionable.
