The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up their second interview with Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris on Tuesday evening. Morris has served on Sean McVay’s staff for the last three seasons, winning a Super Bowl with the team in 2021.
The 47-year-old is one of the more experienced candidates available. Morris was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three years (2009-2011), producing one 10-6 season in 2010. He served six years on the Falcons coaching staff (2015-2020) and stepped in as the interim head coach after the team fired Dan Quinn in 2020.
Falcons officially complete their second interview — an in-person one — with Rams DC & former Atlanta interim HC Raheem Morris.
Many slips handed out for second interviews. Two completed so far — Bill Belichick & Morris.

Morris has experience coaching on both sides of the ball and considering his familiarity with the organization and team owner Arthur Blank, don’t rule out a potential return to Atlanta.
The Falcons are also expected to fly out to meet with both Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn next week. Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is also reportedly set to have a second interview in the next week.
