The Atlanta Falcons placed wide receiver Josh Ali on the injured reserve list Wednesday, adding defensive lineman Eli Ankou to the 53-man roster in his place.
Ankou was previously on the Buffalo Bills practice squad. The 29-year-old should add some depth to the interior or Atlanta’s defensive line. The Falcons have since promoted wide receiver Xavier Malone from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
