Fair City spoilers: Chaos in Carrigstown as Ruth goes missing

There's chaos in Carrigstown this week when Ruth disappears.

It all kicks off tonight when Paul asks Seán to help with his daughter after weeks of mayhem between the blended families.

His pride prevents him from seeking Orla’s help with the matter, and to make matters worse, he learns that Ruth tried to steal a bottle of wine from Phelan’s.

In disbelief, Paul asks Ruth if someone dared her to do it.

Meanwhile, Orla admits to Dolores how much she misses Paul and Ruth.

But there is no time for reconciliation talks as Paul discovers Ruth has disappeared and asks Orla for her help to find her.

As the community comes together to try to find the youngster, heart wrenching scenes will see Paul make a public appeal for Ruth to come home with Orla by his side later on this week.

Elsewhere, betting has lost its sheen for Sharon and Bronagh realises she’s offended her. Bronagh apologises and offers to teach her how to follow the form and Sharon decides to swap horses for darts.

Across the street there’s even more family worry, as Zak admits to Hughie that he contributed to Tommy’s share of the rent without his knowledge.

Without a third tenant, Tommy wonders how he’s going to cover the rent going forward.

But Zak tries to reassure Tommy about their money situation and the father and son bond as they settle into their new home.

But Tommy grows suspicious as Zak continues shifting counterfeit goods - and continues lying to his dad.
