Fair City's Jenny Dixon and husband get creative naming their newborn twins

Former Fair City star Jenny Dixon and her husband Tom Neville have welcomed twin girls.

The babies arrived into the world earlier this week and are doing well as they remain in the neo natal ward at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin. The couple have revealed their unique names and shared the first picture of them on Instagram.

Jenny said: "Myself and Tom are delighted to welcome our beautiful twin daughters to the world. Bella Sky Neville and Capri Lucia Neville were born Monday February, 20, 2023." She also added that "the girls are in neo natal and doing well".

The actress praised the staff of the Rotunda Hospital for looking after her and her babies so well. The new mum added: "To Professor Jennifer Donnelly and the entire team of midwives & staff at [Rotunda Hospital], we thank you so much."

Jenny and Tom revealed they were expecting their first child together back in November when Jenny was already 17 weeks pregnant. In a touching post on Instagram, she said: "Just when we thought it may never happen. It happens. Some kind of sacred magic. Faith, positivity, determination... and an act of god."

Announcing the pregnancy, the Dublin native went on to say: "We can’t wait to meet you. We can’t wait to meet both of you."

Jenny and Tom, who is a former Limerick TD, tied the knot in a stunning Dublin wedding in July 2019. They said "I do" front of Jenny's Fair City's castmates, including George McMahon, Donna Anita Nikolaisen and Dave O'Sullivan, and Tom's Dail colleagues in Drumcondra before a lavish reception in Powerscourt Resort in County Wicklow.

The then Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and his boyfriend Matt Barrett, South Dublin's Kate O'Connell and Eoghan Murphy, Sean Kyne and Josepha Madigan were among the guests who toasted to the bride and groom on the day.
