A woman has cheated death after she fainted and collapsed under a train.
The horrifying moment Candela, a commuter in Argentina's capital, Bueno Aires, came within a hair's breadth of death has been captured on incredible CCTV footage.
Onlookers were left fearing the worst after she lost her balance and vanished underneath a train at the Independence Station on the outskirts of the capital city.
Footage showed the moment Candela stumbled on her feet before tipping forward and disappearing between the two carriages.
Several eyewitnesses could be seen raising their hands to their heads in horror at what they had just seen.
Miraculously she was rescued from the tracks alive as she was lifted back onto the platform where amazed commuters crowded around her, before an ambulance took her away.
Candela was shown the horrific images of her tumbling into the tracks as she was being discharged from Buenos Aires Hospital.
She told an Argentinian TV station: “I suffered a sudden drop in blood pressure and fainted.
“I tried to warn the person in front of me but don’t remember anything else, even the moment I smashed into the train.
“I don’t know how I’m still alive. I’m still trying to make sense of it all.”
A witness to the incident said: “This girl has been reborn. It’s a miracle.
“We were waiting for the train and suddenly she fell onto the track. Amazingly it was just a scare.”
