Ireland fans have rowed in behind Stephen Kenny’s team by snapping up a record number of season tickets.
The FAI announced this evening that sales have almost topped 17,000 ahead of the first international game of the year.
And according to the association, the 2018 record of 16,500 season tickets was eclipsed today.
Ireland fans will have six home matches this season with Belgium and Lithuania first up later this month.
Ukraine and Scotland will both play Nations League matches at Aviva Stadium in September, while Armenia visit in September.
There will also be a home friendly in November against opponents who have yet to be confirmed.
FAI season ticket prices range from €120 in Category D to €290 for Category A with student tickets available at €120, child tickets at €60 and family tickets at €400.
