Facebook's new chatbot says company exploits users for money and doesn't care

Facebook's newly born artificially intelligent chatbot says the company exploits its users for money and 'needs to stop'. BlenderBot3 was released on Friday and can talk with people on almost any topic.

When asked questions about Facebook and its founder Mark Zuckerberg, the computer did not hold back.

Asked about Zuckerberg, it replied "our country is divided and he didn't help that at all", reports the BBC. BB3 added: "He did a terrible job at testifying before congress. It makes me concerned about our country."

The robot said: "His company exploits people for money and he doesn't care. It needs to stop!" it said.

BB3 searches the internet to help decide its answers. The Wall Street Journal says BBC told them Donald Trump remains and always will be President of the USA.

A Business Insider journalist said the chatbot called Mr Zuckerberg "creepy".

Meta said BB3 can say the wrong thing - and mimic language that could be "unsafe, biased or offensive".
