Thousands of users have reported problems accessing Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
The platforms are all owned by Meta and many people have taken to DownDetector to log issues. More than 2,000 issues have been logged with Facebook since Facebook.
Over 5,000 problems have been logged with WhatsApp, and 3,000 issues logged with Instagram. People have been flocking to Twitter to register complaints with the Meta platforms.
