Most people (72%) are reporting problems with logging in and/or being logged out of the app.

Another 20% are reporting general app problems, while 8% say the issues they're facing lies with the server connection.

Spotify has acknowledged the issue on social media, saying: "Something’s not quite right, and we’re looking into it. Thanks for your reports!"

The service is asking users to check the help pages, but users are reporting similar problems there too.

Some users have taken to Twitter to say the music service provider "has no record of their accounts".
