This is the face of a man who was jailed for seven years over a series of sexual assaults on children.
An image of 73-year-old Alan Kent, who was jailed on February 18 for a range of sexual offences against two children, was released by Cheshire Police for the first time.
The "predatory" child abuser was convicted after a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.

The Crown Prosecution Service said Kent “indulged his sexual fantasies while the children understood very little of what he was asking them to do”.
Kent, 73, of Humphreys Close, Murdishaw, Runcorn, was initially accused of a range of offences by one victim, before a second victim came forward.
Thirteen of the counts related to sexual assaults of a child under 13 and incitement against the same young girl while she was between the ages of about six and 10 years old.
One charge of attempted sexual assault related to the second victim, who was aged between about 10 and 12 years.
He was acquitted of the other charges on the 22-count indictment.
Nicholas Williams, prosecuting at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, read details from the victim impact personal statements in which the older victim said she had “suppressed” the feelings over what happened to her but the memory returned when she heard about the other investigation.
She said she continues to feel “embarrassed this happened and ashamed” in addition to anxiety from having to give evidence and being called a “liar” during the trial, and would be seeking therapy.
The younger girl, who was subjected to most of the abuse, said it had been “mentally draining” when she first spoke about what happened and since then it has become “worse” and “overwhelmed” her.
She now “worries about being around older men”, and sometimes she stops what she’s doing day-to-day because she becomes “visibly upset”.
For fear of “bumping into Alan”, she avoids busy places.
Mr Williams said Kent had previous convictions but none were similar and the most recent was for assault occasioning actual bodily harm from 1992.
Recorder Eric Lamb said a probation report assessed Kent as a “low risk” of reoffending and “medium” risk of harm, and not to a sufficient degree to be classed “dangerous” for the purposes of sentencing.
Carmel Wilde, defending, told the court Kent had “limited mobility” due to two strokes that led to him giving up work, and diabetes.
He was also the main carer for his “bed-bound” partner, who would have to go into care with their own property sold to pay for it as she needs “24-hour” support.
Kent’s work ethic had been “excellent” despite his “literacy issues” and he had been employed at a bakery before his strokes.
Ms Wilde added most of the offences related to touching over clothing.
Recorder Lamb discussed the sentencing guidelines and categorisation with the prosecution and defence counsel and sentenced Kent to six years in prison for the offences against the younger victim plus one year for the attempted assault involving the older victim, totalling seven years.
Kent was placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely and was made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, also indefinite.
The judge said abuse took place over a “protracted period” and involved touching over clothes, touching legs, asking one of the victims to remove her upper clothing and the attempted sexual assault involving the older victim, which he said involved “advancing” towards her but with no contact made as she “realised what was happening” before his intended act could take place.
Neither victim can be named for legal reasons.
During his sentencing remarks, Recorder Lamb said: “So far as all of these offences are concerned they have had a devastating effect upon your victims.”
In a statement issued after the hearing, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said Kent had “offered to pay for sexual favours” and “indulged his sexual fantasies while the children understood very little of what he was asking them to do”.
Kent was arrested at home in Runcorn in 2019.
Speaking after the hearing, Jo Lazzari, Head of the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit at CPS Mersey Cheshire, said: “Alan Kent’s offending has spanned several years and caused unimaginable distress and trauma to his two victims.
“His offending seemed to get worse over the years and he has learnt nothing from the harm he has done.”
She added: “The CPS would like to thank the victims in this case and their families for coming forward and helping us to get this dangerous predatory offender jailed.
“Their courage in supporting a trial has undoubtedly made other children safe from his depravity.
“We recognise that abuse stays with survivors for their whole life.
“If there are people out there who have been affected by similar trauma we would urge you to come forward no matter how long ago it happened.
“We are working with the police and the courts to make sure as many abusers as possible are brought to justice and that victims receive the support they deserve. “
