Arsenal's business in the summer 2022 transfer window appears to be moving rapidly, with Porto confirming that Fabio Vieira has joined the Gunners
The fee in question for Vieira is within the region of £29 million plus add-ons and his signing comes after the club's acquisition of Marquinhos who has penned a four-year deal at the Emirates.
What's interesting is the desirable wage from Arsenal's perspective Vieira will be receiving in north London, with reports in Portugal stating he will earn around £111,000 in wages per month, equalling just over £25,000 per week.

When diving into Vieira's profile, he possesses plenty of versatility, a trait Mikel Arteta looks for in players as the Spaniard places great importance on players being able to provide quality in multiple zones across the pitch, thereby increasing the unpredictability in which the team plays with.
Arsenal's current setup consists of a 2-3-2-3 shape in settled possession, with two central creators occupying the half-spaces and usually, it has been Martin Odegaard and Granit Xhaka operating between the lines.
Vieira possesses the ability to play both on the left and right side of midfield, giving Arsenal an additional creative option in advanced areas.
Whilst its' not his best position, Vieira has also featured on the right flank which could offer the Gunners a potential backup option to the talented Bukayo Saka, who certainly needs to be managed better next season in terms of minutes so that the burnout risk is avoided.
What's worth noting is that a deal for Vieira does not hamper the club's pursuit of Youri Tielemans, who remains a priority and talks with Leicester continue according to Fabrizio Romano.
