Here is your Arsenal morning digest for Saturday, June 18.

Lisandro Martinez becomes Arsenal 'priority'

News broke on Friday night that the Gunners are set to prioritise a move for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez following the completion of Fabio Vieira's move to the Emirates Stadium from Porto.

Martinez is the top defensive target for Arsenal this summer, as reported by The Athletic, with Mikel Arteta keen to add more versatility and quality to his squad.

The Gunners have had an initial bid of £25million rejected by the Eredivisie champions but will return with an improved offer for the 24-year-old, who can play at centre-back, left back and defensive midfield.

Initially, it seemed that Jesus was prioritising teams that are competing in the Champions League but no team is yet to provide a similar offer to Arsenal.
