Fabio Paratici now has five weeks remaining to complete Tottenham's transfer business for the summer. Very active in the market so far with six new arrivals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, all Spurs fans are hoping that the club's managing director of football has a few more deals lined up.
Outgoings are very much the priority at present, with Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks not part of Antonio Conte's plans going forward. As well as the quartet, question marks surround the futures of Joe Rodon, Japhet Tanganga, Pape Matar Sarr and Bryan Gil as Paratici looks to finalise the squad for the head coach.
Tottenham have 31 first-team players on the books as things stand and it is imperative that players depart to ensure they do not have a bloated squad going into the new season. If there are to be any further arrivals in north London, a new centre-back and another attacking outlet could be on the cards.

Tottenham have failed to replace Christian Eriksen ever since he departed in January 2020 and a new creative midfielder would further boost Spurs' choice in the final third. At present there is no room for an attacking midfielder in Conte's 3-4-3 system but having that option there would allow him to switch to the 3-5-2 he used during his time at Inter Milan.
Leicester City's James Maddison is one player to have been linked with Tottenham after a standout season at the King Power Stadium, with Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo also mentioned. Spurs will come up against the latter on Saturday evening with the teams going head-to-head in Israel in the Lilywhites' final pre-season friendly of the summer.
Amid the links with the Italy international, Tottenham fans will certainly be keeping one eye on the Roma ace to see how he does just in case a move to the capital does come to fruition before deadline day. The 23-year-old has been in good form in pre-season so far for the Giallorossi, scoring in pre-season victories over Sunderland and Portuguese side Portimonense.
Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder as well as on the right wing or just off the striker, reports claim that Italian giants Juventus are also interested in the £42.5million ace. A switch to the biggest team in Italy would of course be such an attractive move for the player, but the lure of the Premier League, playing under Conte and in one of the world's best stadiums also means Tottenham would be extremely appealing.
A player both Paratici and Conte know incredibly well from their time in Italy, Tottenham's managing director of football has the perfect opportunity on Saturday to make his move for the Serie A ace. Roma officials will also be in Israel for the match and it will give Paratici the chance to speak with them over the weekend about the possibility of luring the player to N17 prior to the transfer deadline.
Having five excellent options in attack in Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Lucas Moura this season, Richarlison's suspension for the opening game does highlight the need to bring in another attacker as the team are only one injury away from having one attacking option on the bench unless Gil stays. The addition of Zaniolo would give Conte two players in each position that he requires and the Italian's versatility also gives the boss an attacking midfield option if he wants to play 3-5-2.
Paratici still has a month to go until the transfer window closes but Saturday really is the ideal chance for him to make his move for Zaniolo if he wants the player to be at Tottenham come September.
